Entrepreneur Perk #5: Leaving Your Legacy

In the last and final segment of this series on the perks of a successful entrepreneur, we are broaching a sobering subject.  We’re taking a serious look at what kind of legacy will be left behind once we are gone.

Take a Second Thought

Have you ever contemplated how you will be remembered when you are gone from this world?  It’s a sobering thought and one that will make you take second thoughts about the way you are living your life today.

There are many various connotations wrapped up in the word legacy.  When you studied history in school, you read about historical legacies handed down from one generation to the next.  For example, Edison left us the legacy of electricity and the incandescent lamp.  An example of a negative legacy would be the rampant abuse of illegal drugs in our nation.

There can be national legacies, societal legacies, cultural legacies and so on.  But then, there are person legacies.  And within the idea of a personal legacy, again there are many connotations.

What Legacy was Left to You?

What kind of legacy was handed down to you with regard to morals, values, standards of conduct, or ways of facing challenges (just to name a few)?  How your immediate family members, and your extended family members, acted and reacted in certain situations affected you. (Probably more than you’re willing to admit.)

And of course there is the area of finances.  Did your parents leave you a strong legacy not only in money, but in healthy attitudes toward money and how to handle it?  If your answer is no, don’t feel bad.  Few people can answer that question in the affirmative.

Our parents did exactly as their parents did and passed on what they knew.  But stop and consider if this is what you want for your future generations.  Or would you like to make an extreme paradigm shift?

Looking to the Future

Of all the millions of people searching online for a legitimate, profitable business, only a few are focusing years down the road.  I’m referring to those who are looking for a viable wealth-building vehicle that will be in place even for retirement years.  Most people are simply looking for something to make a few bucks fast so they can make this month’s mortgage payment.

Of those same millions, fewer still are looking at a business to see if it’s something that could actually be willed to their children.  (Now there’s a unique thought.)  But the few who make that consideration, and focus on that high goal, will definitely be leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.  (I want to show you an online business that will allow you to do just that!)

Healthy Attitudes

The person who is thinking of passive income for generations to come is not only leaving a legacy of financial stability, but also a legacy of healthy money attitudes.  And those kinds of attitudes are priceless.

How is it that some entrepreneurs can go belly-up and lose everything, but in a few years they are right back on top?  What is the quality that enables them to do that?  It’s their mindset.  It wasn’t the money in the first place; it was their tenacity, their dedication, their penchant for hard work – and the accumulation of money was simply a natural result.  That kind of attitude is most certainly a legacy to be passed on to the next generation.

What are you leaving behind?  A big boat-load of debt along with an even bigger boat-load of negative attitudes about life in general, and money in particular?

Or are you intent on leaving a legacy of a business that includes wise investments and ongoing passive income, and all of the healthy attitudes that go along with it?

Let me help you make the right decision.  Let me be that mentor to lead you into a business that could bring you into a secure financial position, and also help you leave that wealth for future generations!

Years down the road, you’ll be glad you did.
